To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail (i) the process that will be used to define the role and responsibility of the new Office of Identity and Cultural Expression; and (ii) how political parties and the public will be able to be involved in developing the OICE.

Answer:

We are committed to the development and implementation of the rights, language and identity proposals contained in New Decade, New Approach.

The precise role and function of the proposed office will be determined during the legislative process.
