Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to deatil the steps her Department is taking to encourage museums and galleries to provide virtual tours to better provide for people with accessibility challenges.

Answer:

My Department continues to support the work of National Museums NI and the NI Museums Council in identifying ways of improving accessibility for all to museum collections.

My Officials regularly meet with the museums sector to discuss, amongst other matters, collaboration opportunities and accessibility issues to ensure that both Department and the sector continue to focus on the importance of providing access to all and attracting a diverse range of audiences.
