Question:
To ask the Minister of Education whether she plans to release the former Castle Gardens Primary school site in Newtownards for social housing development.

Answer:

The Department of Education is not the owner of the site.

The EA owns the land and has declared it surplus to its requirements however a complex legal title has meant that it is proving extremely difficult to sell the site.
