To ask the Minister for Communities to detail her plans for extending the 12-week COVID-19 protection for tenants in private rented accommodation beyond 30 September 2021.

Answer:

When extending the emergency period for landlords to provide 12 weeks’ notice to quit from the end of March 2021 to 30 September 2021, I advised that the regulations would be reviewed in the summer.
