To ask the Minister of Finance (i) for his assessment of the issues faced by applicants for Economic Operators Registration and Identification numbers, including the length of time taken to receive one; and (ii) to outline any conversations he has had with HMRC regarding these issues.

Answer:

I am not aware of any issues in this regard. My Department however has no role in the administering of Economic Operators Registration and Identification numbers and this is a matter for HMRC.
