Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail the amount of funding distributed by the Sports Sustainability Fund in each constituency.

Answer:

Sports Governing Bodies were required to apply for the Sports Sustainability Fund on behalf of themselves and their affiliated clubs. As such, 35 sport Governing Bodies received funding for their affiliated clubs and/or themselves totalling £23.01m. There were 452 individual beneficiaries of the Fund. These included 430 sports clubs.

As part of the agreed governance arrangements, Sport NI is currently working through a verification and vouching process which includes postcode checks. This process is currently ongoing and as such the amount of funds distributed by constituency is not yet available.
