Question:
To ask the Minister of Health to detaile the deadline set for an assurance that vaccine certification will be compatible with that in the rest of the UK to allow for the recognition of people that received doses in different jurisdictions.

Answer:

The CovidCert NI solution is fully compatible with the EU and WHO standards for such applications, which have been adopted by the UK regions.

A process, to update the vaccination records of those NI citizens who received a vaccine dose elsewhere in the UK and enable a certificate to be produced, has now been agreed and is being deployed. Other UK regions, on request, will provide the required information that can be used to apply for an NI certificate through the NI Direct service.
