To ask the Minister for Communities for an update on the review of welfare mitigations; and when the public consultation will be released.

Answer:

My Department has finalised proposals for the completion of the review of welfare mitigation measures. I can confirm that the review will be completed by an independent panel that will be tasked with making recommendations.

I will make an announcement on the format of the review, including engagement with stakeholders, in the coming weeks.
