Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister for an update on the work of the Commission for Victims and Survivors.

Answer:

The Commission continues to work to improve the lives of victims and survivors.

CVS is an active partner in the co-design process to develop a new Victims and Survivors Strategy. The findings of its PEACE IV funded research reports will provide significant guidance in that development.

CVS is also working on the development of future research priorities, taking into consideration the experiences of bereaved victims and survivors, carers, those in rural communities and outside this jurisdiction, including gender specific issues and needs.

The Victims and Survivors Forum continues to engage on these and other important issues.
