Question:
To ask the Minister of Finance what his Department is doing to make Stormont Estate ‘smoke free’.

Answer:

Since 1 January 2005, Civil Service policy has prohibited smoking in all Departmental premises. The prohibition has since been extended to the use of e-cigarettes. This applies to all buildings, including entrance and exit areas, on the Stormont Estate.

With regard particularly to the Stormont Estate, smoking is not permitted within the Mo Mowlam playpark.
