To ask the Minister for Infrastructure what steps her Department will take to protect South Antrim constituents in Mallusk from increased HGV movements in this residential area.

Answer:

I am advised that the Department is not aware of any recent planning permissions that would indicate an increase in HGV movements in the Mallusk area. However, if you are aware of any issues relating to HGV traffic on specific roads in Mallusk please contact officials within DfI Roads Northern Division who will investigate and consider if any traffic restrictions are appropriate.
