Question:
To ask the Minister of Health whether he will consider extending the provision of reimbursements of travel expenses to bank contract staff working for Health and Social Care Trusts.

Answer:
There is no provision for reimbursement of the cost of travel to and from the workplace for any HSC staff. Where a vehicle is used for business purposes, staff are able to claim for appropriate mileage.
During the previous surge, DfI had made free public transport available to HSC staff via Translink, that provision has now ceased.
