Question:
To ask the Minister of Health to detail any plans he has to hold an emergency summit of healthcare professionals in order to help counter growing waiting lists.

Answer:

The situation facing the health and social care system is extremely serious. I and my officials are in contact with healthcare leaders and professionals on a daily basis and collectively our focus is on managing the immediate and ongoing impact of COVID-19 while protecting as much elective care capacity as possible.
