Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail the number of staff assigned to the telephone helpline to book vehicle tests for a private car, motorcycle or LGV (up to 3,500kg), broken down by day for (i) week commencing 30 August 2021, (ii) week commencing 6 September 2021; and (iii) week commencing 13 September 2021.

Answer:

The Contact Centre for the booking of driving and vehicle tests was hosted by DVA’s previous supplier until 17.00 on 16 September 2021, at which time it closed for 3 working days to facilitate the transition to a new service.

Details of the number of Contact Centre staff assigned to book both driving tests and vehicle tests for a private car, motorcycle or LGV (up to 3,500kg) are provided below.
