Question:
To ask the Minister of Health to detail (i) the percentage of medical staff in each Health and Social Care Trust that are fully vaccinated; and (ii) the efforts he is making to increase this number.

Answer:

Comprehensive information for every Trust is not readily available as it was not collected in the first stages of the vaccination program. While this will be available for the booster program, it is not anticipated that this information will become available retrospectively.

While vaccination only occurs with consent of the patient, throughout the vaccination programme there has been regular messaging to staff and myth busting encouraging uptake of the offer of vaccination. Every effort was made to make accessing vaccination as easy as possible with staff eligible to walk in to vaccination centres and pop up clinics without prior appointment.
