Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy to detail (i) any breaches of security relating to the High Street scheme; and (ii) any other evidence of fraud related to the scheme.

Answer:

There have been no reported breaches of security relating to the High Street Voucher Scheme.

I can confirm there are currently two instances of potential fraud involving applications to the High Street Scheme. One is under investigation by the PSNI and the Department has provided supporting evidence. The other is a whistleblowing allegation which is currently the subject of preliminary investigation by the Department.
