Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail the employment and skills programmes being delivered through the local inclusive labour market partnerships.

Answer:

My Department has been working through co-design processes with a range of key stakeholders, including local councils and the Department for the Economy, to develop and implement local Labour Market Partnerships (LMPs).

Each Local LMP is currently producing an annual Action Plan detailing delivery in their area, following a strategic assessment to identify and evidence local need.

Therefore, it is not possible to detail the planned employment and skills programmes at this stage. However, the action plans are expected to include initiatives addressing issues such as long term unemployed, economic inactivity and impacts of Covid-19.
