To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs what capacity is remaining in Cottonmount Landfill Site.

Answer:

I can advise that the Cottonmount Landfill, Mallusk, has a remaining capacity of approximately 420,000 m3 within its current constructed engineered cells. The site’s Permit (P0090/05A) provides for the construction of additional cells which would realise approximately 4.2 million m3 of void space.
