Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure when the crash barriers at the entrance to the Bangor Park and Ride carpark, Abbey Street, will be repaired.

Answer:

My officials advise that the damaged pedestrian guard rail referred to was installed as part of an environmental improvement scheme and is more ornate than the standard guardrails normally used by my Department. My Department has instructed the contractor to fabricate a matching guardrail and although it will take a little longer due to its bespoke nature, the repair work is expected to be completed by the end of November 2021.
