Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail the spaces available for community theatre in East Londonderry.

Answer:

Community theatre groups operate in a range of rehearsal and performance spaces that might include community halls, arts centres, outdoor spaces as well as village halls and schools. The Department does not have a definitive list of the potential spaces that might be available. In addition there are a number of theatres in or close to the constituency that might provide an outlet for community theatre group performances; these include the Playhouse Theatre, the Waterside Theatre, the Millennium Forum and the Riverside Theatre.

In the current circumstances not all facilities are currently available for use at this time. Further details can be obtained directly from the venues, the Arts Council and the local council.
