Question:
To ask the Minister of Health to outline the protocol for service contact between his Department or Health and Social Care Trusts and private clinics involved in autism diagnosis.

Answer:

Responsibility for provision of autism services is an operational matter for individual Trusts. However, the Health and Social Care Board have advised that where arrangements for service contact are required, such services are engaged in line with procurement processes and probity in the allocation of public funds.
