To ask the Minister for Communities whether she plans to extend the 2013 Mobile Homes Act to Northern Ireland.

Answer:

My Department’s responsibilities are for those who live in mobile homes as their permanent residential accommodation. The Caravans Act 2011, is currently under review.

A cross Departmental Working Group encompassing DfC, DfE and DfI officials, has been established, and preparatory work is underway to launch the Review and gather input.
