Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs whether he has plans to move to an entirely zero-emission fleet of vehicles.

Answer:

In our Draft Green Growth Strategy, my Executive colleagues and I have made a series of commitments – one of which is to lead by example. That is why we have committed to delivering a government estate and fleet with net zero operational carbon emissions and to ensure that there is a Green Growth aligned procurement strategy for all government spend. Accordingly I will ensure that my Department takes the appropriate steps to deliver on this commitment.
