Question: To ask the Minister of Health whether plans exist to align to booster COVID-19 vaccine arrangements with England, where the booster jab is available five months after second jab.
Answer:
Arrangements in Northern Ireland align with those in England on the interval for administering a booster dose against Covid-19. Booster doses are administered at an interval of six months from second primary dose. This period may be reduced to five months for certain operational reasons. This is the position across the UK and Chapter 14A Green Book on Immunisation Against Infectious Disease refers.
