Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure when her Department plans to introduce new road signage that can be used by accredited marshalls during cycling events.

Answer:

The use of accredited marshals during cycling events is currently being considered as part of the ongoing review of the operation of the Roads (Miscellaneous Provision) Act (Northern Ireland) 2010, known as the ‘Special Events’ legislation. I am working with officials to finalise this work and will make the findings publically available when in a position to be able to do so.
