To ask the Minister for Communities what plans are being considered in her Department for a student renters bill.

Answer:

The Department for Communities does not have responsibility for student accommodation however many students choose to live in the private rented sector.

The Private Tenancies Bill will address issues faced by all tenants living in the private rented sector such as affordability, safety, and notice to quit periods.
