Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities how her Department intends to consult on future plans for Grey Point Fort, Helen’s Bay.

Answer:

Grey Point Fort is a State Care Monument in the care of my Department. My Department is working with Ards and North Down Borough Council to explore the best way to engage with the local community regarding future developments at the site. The engagement with Council and stakeholders is expected to produce a Masterplan for the site, which will identify how the site can be developed to reach its full potential, for both the local community and for visitors to the Helen’s Bay area.
