To ask the Minister of Health what discussions he has had with the Minister for Communities about addressing the difficulties caused by the lack of court-appointed social workers in family courts.

Answer:

I have not held any discussions with the Minister for Communities in connection with Children’s Court Welfare Officers (CCWOs). CCWOs are social workers employed by Health and Social Care Trusts.
