Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities whether the Historic Environment Division will conduct an urgent review of the damage caused to Kircubbin Quay; and what actions her Department can take to protect this local historical asset.

Answer:

I have instructed my officials to investigate any recent damage at this site and make contact with the owner, relevant groups and individuals. As previously advised, in relation to the repair of any damage, the primary role of my Department is in an advice and regulatory capacity around informing and consenting conservation works there.
