Question:
To ask the Minister of Health what consideration is being given to allocating specific vaccination centres for use by people who need more time to get vaccinated, such as children with certain forms of Asperger's.

Answer:
The member may be aware that, across all 5 Trust areas, there are vaccination centres which are staffed and equipped to cater for those who require more time for receiving their vaccine. There are trained and experienced staff onsite at each of the centres.
Where additional challenges with vaccination are alerted prior to an individual attending for vaccination, arrangements are made in advance to address any difficulty which may present.
A pathway for communicating any anticipated challenges is open to members of the public by emailing the Department of Health at the address below and they will advise you and contact the relevant Trust

In relation to the vaccination of children, this was carried out primarily via a schools based programme where the environment would be familiar to the child or young person.
