To ask the Minister of Health to detail the number of social work vacancies, broken down by programme of care.

Answer:

At 30 September 2021, there were 399 social worker vacancies actively being recruited to across HSC. A breakdown by programme of care is not collected centrally.

Information on vacancies actively being recruited to in Health and Social Care (HSC) is routinely collected on a quarterly basis from each HSC organisation, and published at the following link: https://www.health-ni.gov.uk/articles/staff-vacancies
