To ask the Minister of Health to detail the work being done with the Minister for Communities and Minister of Justice to provide social housing suitable for adults with learning disabilities who have a criminal record.

Answer:

Social housing is a matter for the Department for Communities, the Department of Health provides HSC services to vulnerable adults and people with learning disabilities in social housing and supported living regardless of criminal records. The Department of Health and the Department for Communities engage frequently at a senior official level to develop policy and ensure parity in financial support for the sector.
