Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure what actions her Department has taken to address faulty reinstatements concerning road openings undertaken by utilities on Groomsport Road, Bangor.

Answer:

My officials are aware there have been a large number of utility reinstatements in the vicinity of The Banks on Groomsport Road and acknowledge the road would benefit from being resurfaced. They have undertaken to consider its inclusion within the 2022/23 resurfacing programme the scale of which will be dependent on the availability of funding in next year’s budget and the availability of contractor resource.
