Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, in the interest of public safety, particularly for those using the route for walking and running, whether her Department will introduce street lighting on the Toome Bypass between the Staffordstown and Brecart roundabouts.

Answer:

Street lighting is provided in the vicinity of the Staffordstown and Brecart roundabouts, however I am advised the stretch of dual carriageway linking them does not meet the criteria for provision of street lighting as set out in my Department’s Policy and Procedure Guide.
