Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities for an update on the review of the Housing Executive; and whether a report will be produced in advance of the pre-election period at the end of March 2022.

Answer:

Work is well advanced on the Outline Business Case with a comprehensive range of options being considered.

My officials have worked in partnership with Housing Executive colleagues, to consider and assess options that can maintain and provide good quality and affordable homes for current tenants and future generations.

The work on the Outline Business Case is nearing completion and I am in the process of receiving advice and considering next steps.
