To ask the Minister of Education what advice she has sought from the industry and scientific advisers in relation to the type of air sanitisers purchased for use in schools.

Answer:

The Education Authority (EA), who procured the air sanitisers sought advice from the Department for Economy engineering/scientific personnel, who carried out the due diligence on the filtration units, prior to their inclusion in the framework tender. The EA purchased the units from this tender.
