Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities when face to face Personal Independence Payment appointments will resume.

Answer:
Face-to-face assessments for Personal Independence Payment resumed on 1 July 2021. Currently this is only for those people who are unable to take part in a telephone assessment due to their condition, for example people with hearing or speech impairments, people who do not have a telephone or those who experience technical difficulties with calls. The Department will continue to monitor its policy in this area as Covid-19 restrictions change.
