Question:
To ask the Minister of Finance whether he has received and approved all pay remits from PSNI staff for 2021/22, including requests for incremental pay progression.

Answer:

For the 2021-22 financial year, there are currently nine PSNI pay remits which require approval by my Department.

As of 8 February 2022, only one of these has been submitted to my Department for approval, this being the PSNI 2021-22 Federated and Superintending. This pay remit is currently being considered by my officials.

Of the remaining eight pay remits, it is my understanding that these pay remits are still being developed by the PSNI and the Policing Board.
