Question:
To ask the Minister of Health for an update on the response to the Serious Adverse Incident at Clifton House, with particular regard to how many occasions, and for how long, there was communication with the families affected during 2021.

Answer:

I have been advised by the SAI Review Team that engagement with families commenced early November 2020 until mid-January 2021.

Various methods of communication were utilised:-

78 telephone calls

60 letters

17 family members/ friends meeting with panel
