Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy how his Department will ensure its policies and strategies align with the Green Growth framework to drive positive environmental impacts for Northern Ireland; and how this will be measured.

Answer:

My Department will consider the 10 Executive Commitments in the draft Green Growth Strategy which provide an overarching framework to support the delivery of climate action by bringing together existing government strategies. We will collaborate with other departments, the wider public sector, and relevant stakeholders.

Progress will be measured in line with Executive Commitment number 10, through the agreed monitoring frameworks.
