To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs why environmental protection, as set out in the UK Environment Act 2021, is not listed as one of the principles in the Future Agricultural Policy Proposal consultation document.

Answer:

It should be clear to anyone reading the consultation document that environmental protection is of central importance to the Future Agricultural Policy Proposals for Northern Ireland.
