To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail any pedestrian safety improvements currently planned for Glengormely town.

Answer:

I am pleased to be able to confirm that plans are currently being progressed to provide a Puffin crossing in the area and my officials are also working closely with Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council on the development of an Environmental Improvement Scheme for Glengormley village centre, which will include measures to enhance facilities for pedestrians and vulnerable road users.
