Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy how many people have received financial remedy as a result of (i) not being able to use; or (ii) not having received their High Street Scheme card.

Answer:

It is estimated that approximately 23,000 people may be eligible to receive a remedy payment. The vast majority of whom were sent an email on 17 February 2022 notifying them that they are potentially eligible for a remedy payment. The others who applied via the telephone service and did not provide an email address are due to be sent a letter within the next week. It is anticipated that remedy payments will be made by end of March/early April 2022.
