Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on plans to improve cycling infrastructure in the Carryduff area.

Answer:
Last year, I published ‘Making Belfast an Active City: Belfast Cycling Network 2021’, which highlights a number of routes in south Belfast and the whole of the city, with estimated investment of more than £100 million over the next ten years. The proposals include a route to Cairnshill P&R which will provide a connection to the proposed Carryduff Greenway – a project being taken forward by Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council.
The Carryduff Greenway proposals will provide traffic-free facilities which will connect to Carryduff East and the Lough Moss Centre. Further details on the project may be obtained from the Council.
