To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, in accordance with Schedule 3 of the Environment Act 2021, when he intends to appoint the Northern Ireland Non-Executive Director for the Office for Environmental Protection.

Answer:

My Department is currently carrying out the required pre-appointment formalities and I intend to announce the Northern Ireland Member of the Office for Environmental Protection as soon as that process is concluded.
