Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure how many penalty charge notices for parking infringements were issued in Helen’s Bay in the financial years (i) 2020/21; and (ii) 2021/22.

Answer:

There were 73 Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued in Helen’s Bay (Church Road, Fort Road and Grey Point) in 2020/21.

There have been 361 PCNs issued in this same area in 2021/22, up to 9 March 2022. For clarity, due to reports of inconsiderate parking as a result of increased visitors to the area during the pandemic, we adopted a targeted enforcement approach at Helen’s Bay.
