Question:
To ask the Minister of Finance how he will ensure undergraduate students studying at universities and colleges outside of the two largest cities will be afforded equal opportunity to avail of the 160 Civil Service student placements.

Answer:

Anyone who meets the eligibility criteria for the Student Placement competition is welcome to apply. Whilst the majority of placements are in the Greater Belfast area, there are also a number of placements in other office locations across a range of council areas. The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the move to a hybrid working approach may mean some of these placements also have an element of home-working in operation.
