To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, pursuant to AQW 29290/17-22, to detail the outcome of the decision on whether to extend the reminder letter notification period for MOT tests.

Answer:

Pursuant to AQW 29290/17-22 Driver Vehicle Agency (DVA) officials have deferred the decision regarding the reminder letter notification period until they are satisfied that the COVID pandemic has reached a more manageable position for certainty of staffing levels.

DVA will continue to monitor the Covid situation and will review the reminder letter notification period when it is appropriate to do so.
