Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs when the Strategic Investment Board report into the need for a veterinary school in Northern Ireland will be published.

Answer:

I have now received the report which the Strategic Investment Board produced around the need for a veterinary school in Northern Ireland, and other veterinary work-force considerations.

I am presently considering with officials how the report may now be taken forward in terms of engaging with the Steering Group (made up of representatives from the universities and the Causeway Coast and Glens Council), and other steps in support of its appropriate publication.
