Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail any work she has done to explore ways of releasing emergency support funding for people struggling to pay energy bills.

Answer:

I am deeply frustrated that the lack of a functioning Executive and agreed budget prevents measures being introduced.

However, I am committed to continuing to support individuals, families and communities who are experiencing real hardship. To giving them the helping hand they need to heat their homes, to put a meal on the table.

I am determined that my department will continue to deliver for all those who are in need.

I have tasked my officials to fully explore and expedite all of the options.
